We own a time share in NO and go there at least once a year. A visit to Acme is a must! They have the best chargrilled oysters ever. Nice crab claws, poboys, rice and beans etc. Their drink prices are good. Lines are always...More

Honestly the service was mediocre, the cafe smelled like the sewage water outside. The charboil oysters was greasy. Bourbon house oyster right next door is waaayyyy better. This place is more of an appetizer place rather than meals. Im glad i didn't have to wait...More

We finally made the trek over to Acme on this trip, specifically for the oysters on the half shell. My intent was to have a quick snack and a half dozen, then I bet my kids wouldn’t eat one raw... but they did! And they...More

One of my favorite places on our trip. Very friendly host service, quick seating, and cute place. Menu had every Cajun thing in the menu we wanted to try. Crawfish étouffée and oyster shooter were unique and really tasty.

So this was my first stop when I landed and it didn't disaapoint. The line was insane but luckily I was dining solo so I was seated at the bar pretty quickly. The best jumbalaya I have had so far.

This is one of the spots I have to go each trip to this town. I enjoy a spot at the bar as you get great service and a view of the shuckers. My must have dish is the CHARGRILLED OYSTERS! An addictive way to...More

This was my second visit here. No one does chargrilled oysters like The Acme does. If I had to choose a last meal, this would be it.

I have always wanted to eat here, but having seen the long lines, I usually go elsewhere to dine until today. This is a very popular place if you gauge it by the often occurring long lines to get in. Their most popular appetizer are...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title

little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

No! You have to wait in line like everyone else dose. Party of 6 is no problem for them to seat.
