This is a spot worth looking for. Funky decor, friendly service, very good food and very reasonable prices.

This was one of the two best places for dinner in New Orleans. Just as a suggestion, you need to have cash as they do not take credit cards. However, they do have an ATM at this location to accommodate your cash needs. Regarding the meal, it was excellent as was the service. We ordered mussels as an appetizer and... More

After reading all the reviews on Trip Advisor for Adolfo's, we thought we should give it a try. It is a small restaurant and I think we got the best seat in the house, at the window. The tables are covered in red checkered tablecloths. The server (James) was knowledgeable and explained all of our options. We had the grouper... More

This restaurant came highly recommended by Steve, the owner of "The Bling Pelican Restaurant". I always take these recommendations seriously, residents of a city usually know best!!!! We took Steve's advice and arrived around 6:15 and we managed to get the last table. The place was full and a waiting list was started. I must say that the food was... More

We were having drinks at the bar below and listening to some of the great musicians. After sitting and witnessing the people wait for hours to go upstairs and eat, we figured we'd give it a whirl. Our server, Alex, was great. The problem came when I received my steak ordered medium well and it was super bloody red (I'm... More

Servings were generous and prices reasonable. Small room with 7-8 tables. We had stuffed flounder. Tasted great. Service was good. Some items represent the local Italian take on Creole cooking.

Adolfo's was one of our best meals in a week in NOLA! This small "hole in the wall" place is upstairs on trendy Frenchmen St., surrounded by local bars with great live music everywhere. We were there in August, so it was busy but not so much that we had to wait. Fantastic food!! Warning - it's cash $$s only.

Headed to Adolfo's after a local insisted we had to eat there...great move! Our foursome had THE BEST meal of our trip. The stuffed flounder with the ocean sauce was absolutely the tastiest fish preparation we've experienced, and our server, Sam, was the best at his job during our stay in New Orleans. One warning...you might consider splitting this dish... More

We had some trouble finding the place initially as the entrance was somewhat hidden. There is a small door leading to steep stairway up to the restaurant. Checked in and was told that there was a 45 wait. Went the back downstairs to a small bar where we had good wine and listened to the typical New Orleans trumpet player... More

This is the first restaurant that only accepted cash - interesting. The place is small and very busy. We were put on a list and told it would be an hour and it was almost exactly one hour. There were 6 of us, so a bit more difficult to seat. My son had the pork chops and there were 2... More

Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
