If you stick to sake, you’ll be happy; they have a lot of good ones. The wheels come off when you order food. Folks giving this place 4 or 5 stars for food must never have been to a real Japanese restaurant. To start, the...More

I read a number of negative reviews but that couldn't be further from the case for us. Even though our waitress didn't have an overly bubbly personality, we had great service. We ordered blueberry margaritas and mohitos along with a selection of appetizers and rolls...More

Great selection of saki at a decent price. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that they have all your classic/ raw sushi as well as a wide variety of cooked sushi. Get your sushi in the rice or wrapped in cucumber for a healthier...More

We have been casting about for some time for a replacement for Ninja, which collapsed some time ago, after being bought out. That time seems associated with a general slide in New Orleans sushi spots. Kyoto has closed. Origami is erratic. Haiku is usually depressingly...More

The sushi is so fresh and delicious! They have a large number of specialty rolls that are very reasonably priced. Their other items on the menu, like teriyaki (I had salmon) are also very good and a good price. We plan to definitely visit here...More

Pleasant restaurant with nice atmosphere. The sushi was great, and the service friendly. The sake selection is extensive, the beer and wine selections ok.

Enjoyed the food and company but the Kenny G (jazz) music has got to go. Could not wait to leave. Definite carry out in the future.

The sushi here is very fresh and comes with zones of variety. The prices are a little high but for the freshness of the fish, it makes it tolerable. The service isn't terrible but you definitely feel rushed.

It had been a while since I'd had lunch at Sake Café on Magazine. When we pulled into the parking lot, I was struck by how few cars were in the lot. When I went inside I immediately noticed a change in the front of...More

Since its opening, Sake Cafe' has swept the New Orleans sushi scene like a tsunami. The menu incorporates traditional Japanese cuisine and New Orleans flavors like Jazz Roll, Uptown Roll and New Orleans Roll. Our Chef creates unique fusion dishes, which are as beautiful as they are delicious. The striking interior creates a "Chic" environment for indulging in exotic offerings from Uni to Aji. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Private seating up to 50 is available upstairs.
