In my opinion this is not the best live music venue on Frenchman but it is definitely worth a stop if live music is being played.

We stopped here on a whim and ended up having the best night of our vacation! Drinks were cold and a good price, place was packed, and Twisted Dixie was great entertainment and their frontman was a blast! Would come back anytime!! More

Passed through here a few times on our visit - you can always judge places on the crowd, and this place always had a crowd. The bar staff were quick and efficient and the music was great.

We had a blast listening to the band and singing and dancing this place. It was late night on Friday, so there was a pretty good crowd. Drinks were pretty reasonable. We're in our 50's and it was different and enjoyable.

Your basic bar with live music nightly. There is no reason to think that this would stand out from another bar in New Orleans. That thinking is wrong. The food is amazing. I had the carne asada tacos and a tamale, my wife had a gordita. The tortillas alone would make this place worth the trip but the filling are... More

The tacos, burritos & quesadillas are DELISH with hearty portions. The few times I've been there they have had fun and talented performers.

Hi Angie, Thanks for taking the time to share your tip with other travelers. Not everyone realizes that we offer a huge selection of delicious food late into the night. Of course our talented musicians are on seven nights a week. Come on back anytime. Cheers, Cafe Negril More

I did not order food here but we had a few drinks and listened to great music! Really felt like the true New Orleans music experience. Better than some of the "hyped" places that were more popular

Good local spot for a good time. We stepped by the Negril to see "In Business" a mind blowing funk band, and enjoyed the Ruben's Taco Truck food. Th e Bar is well stocked I'm a Fernet lover and they have it too! Don't expect to see frat boys around here, just people who enjoy good music and a good... More

I just had the carnitas! They were the best I've ever had! A live band was playing while I waited. Awesome place!

Frenchmens Street is a great alternative to Bourbon street. The crowds are much smaller and a lot less rowdy. We were treated to some great music by Revival, who covered several Janis Joplin tunes. The menu included tacos, pizza and some local seafood specialties, which were fairly good. This is a fun place to start your evening out.
