Dinner here our first night with hubby. He enjoyed a shrimp platter. I had stuffed mushrooms and trio of soups. I thought the soups were just okay - wouldn't order again. LOVED the mushrooms and saved some for leftovers the next day.

We went to Deanie’s because my husband wanted some authentic Cajun food. However I am not a big fan of seafood or Cajun. They had a very small menu. Disappointed in the choices. However his Cajun sampler plate he said was amazing! I opted for...More

Tried something new and I loved it! Blackened Red Fish, so good... Service was good, however I can see that it could be luck of the draw as there was some drama with some of the other servers. The service was also very fast.

We were not impressed on our first visit here, but decided to give it a chance because our first choice was crowded and we hadn't made reservations. First, whoever came up with potatoes instead of bread should be horsewhipped. They are nasty little potatoes. An...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
