We liked the ambiance of the place when we arrived, it was within two hours of closing time and wasn't very busy, we got a booth. I ordered the fried oyster tacos ($12) with side of red beans and rice while my friend ordered a burger with side of Mac'n'cheese. We weren't waiting long for our food and the service... More

We went two nights in a row, different bands each night but both were good. Service was friendly and good and all the different dishes we had were really nice. We did the smaller plates (they are more modest sized) and shared between us.

The band that played tonight was really fantastic. The Louisiana jazz music is so unique and interesting you really can't go wrong with any of the places along the street offering live music. The place itself was okay. I was happy to finally get a beer that I could enjoy. New Orleans doesn't appear to be a place for the... More

They were slammed and it was late, but they were all so nice, especially Tori! Very helpful and accommodating of food allergies. I really appreciated the extra time and care Tori took to make sure I avoided possible cross-contamination. And the food was so good with large portions!

Enjoyed our food & the music was really good but the service was a little slow. Probably would go back though.

Stopped in to listen to the music and it was great. Drinks were good. Went there the next day to have lunch. Food was just ok. It was edible but nothing I'd go back for. The waiter we had was not good either.

Hi I am Phil and I am a partner at the Marigny. So sorry the food didn't live up to the music. I take pride in what we do and I always want it to be great. Again, I hate that we didn't deliver on that pride. If you are ever back again and if there is anything I can... More

I had found this place on a list of best places for a cocktail. My wife and I stayed 2 nights on Frenchmen Street before a cruise. We found the place soon after our late arrival. We sat outside, and had excellent service from Patrick (I think that was his name). Cocktails were great. We had onion rings which were... More

We were excited to eat here but were disappointed. The waitress was so rushed it felt like we weren't getting any service at all. The food I ordered was not as described on the menu (fried catfish and deep-fried catfish are too different things). For what we got it was very over-priced especially compared to other lovely places we eat... More
