Exploring NOLA outside of the Quarter and CBD has always been a pleasant pastime. Maple street was not high on the list due to the idea that it was mainly for the college crowd--I am WRONG. I would advise a stroll along this portion of...More

Jamila's serves Tunisian food, which is excellent. This is owned by a family. The wife cooks. The husband works the dining room and is very charming and gracious. It is a small restaurant in Uptown New Orleans and is a fun, and delicious experience.

Authentic ethnic cuisine cooked and served with love by a husband & wife team in an intimate, relaxed dining room. What a treat. The stuffed and fried phyllo appetizer was amazing. My sister thoroughly enjoyed the fish, which had an unusually savory preparation that used...More

Very much their own self sufficient unit within the
greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down
the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate

students living in the area ensure that Uptown and
Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly
fun. Two of the liveliest thoroughfares for nightlife

I would just call them at 504-866-4366. I think that they are only open for dinner. So call in the evening.
