Our host recommended Elizabeth's for breakfast, which was on our way when walking to the French Quarter. Great menu selection and good food. Nice local decor. Would recommend.

The bywater is a great place that not too many visitors venture to. Just off the beaten path. Highly recommended though. Nice little restaurant, great bar and excellent local art on the walls. The food and drink are both fantastic. great selection of local beers....More

Food was delicious! The fried green tomatoes were great. The pastrami sandwich was also good. There’s a lot of love in their food.

Came here for breakfast and it took almost 2 hours for food. The waitress was extremely rude. I guess she thought my boyfriend was taking too long to figure out which drink he wanted because she just walked away before he could order his drink....More

We had breakfast at Elizabeth's and it was great. It's very colorful, their menu is simple but good. I had the salmon grilled chees with eggs and I enjoyed it a lot. Service was polite and fast.

Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward,
the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely
residential. Of course, folks around here love to go
out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere
in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the
festivities, well then so much the better! Home to
some of the most revered live music venues in New
Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
