Arnaud's is a nice sit down alternative to the over blown Sunday buffet brunch some people love but I am usually not a fan. The menu includes many options for both appetizer, main and dessert. Crusty French bread served at beginning. Beware the description of some entrees on menu is not complete. My husband ordered an egg dish which had... More

I recommend paying the extra $4 (which seems ridiculous) to sit on side with the live jazz singer(s). The night I was there they had a trio belting out fabulous jazz tableside. Food was good as well

I've dined at Arnaud's twice in the last few years, during two separate trips to NOLA. I was so excited to bring my husband here for his first time after previously visiting with my mom. We dressed very nicely for the evening but when we arrived I was told I could not wear my outfit into the restaurant and would... More

We visited this place purely to see the Mardi Gras Museum which is housed upstairs in the building. This appears to be a little hidden away and not well advertised but is certainly worth a visit. we enjoyed a drink in the bar and got a flavour of what this establishment has to offer in terms of entertainment and food.... Very good, but not five stars. The duck was served medallion style, with a very good blueberry sauce. The best duck is still served cut in half (not medallions). Very flavorful turtle soup. Banana Foster dessert was very good. Excellent service. All the meals served together.

The ambience here is awesome. A tuxedoed trio plays music at a reasonable level and goes amid the tables. Waiter service is attentive and knowledgeable. The food is excellent and there is a nice choice. The signature drink is a champagne based "75" . Highly recommended.

We were seated in the area of the restaurant that had the music. We were serenaded and played my request which was "Summer Time" from Porgy and Bess! The food was lovely and our bottle of merlot was finished! Highly recommend. When we were there, there were a few tables vacant, it was around 8 PM.

A very large place. Lots of great tables, restaurant food and a full bar and music too. Clean with a very nice atmosphere. The prices are a bit on the higher side.

The location sets the tone. Enjoy the overlook of bourbon street balcony with fine dinning at its best. The course meals are perportioned perfectly. Some start out with the perfect size lettuce wedge, 3 meat choice entrees finished with a sherbet ice cream desert topped with an edidible spoon waffle & Cheri wine. I highly recommend this formel place!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
