Mr. Rudolph, the Concierge at The Ritz Carlton, enthusiastically recommended Herbsaint for dining, and he was right. The place has a “good feel.” It is attractively decorated with background music from the 60s, to our delight. The food was attractively plated, and delicious. Recommend the...More

In town with the Misses on business, was able to do a nice dinner out before conferences took up the rest of our stay. Chose this off the menu on their website (not the one listed above). Had the housemade gnocchi with pancetta and preserved...More

Went by for late Light lunch. Had 2 veggie dishes, grilled broccoli and ham braised cabbage- both were excellent. Menu looked wonderful and if these dishes were indicative of meals, give it a try. We liked the ambiance and the wait staff as well.

From the best bowl of gumbo to my first experience eating crispy goat to the outstanding staff, Herbsaint hit it out of the park!

Okay, ate here on recommendation of a local, someone whose tastes I typically share. However, this place was a disappointment for me, and I won't be back. Went for a late lunch, and the restaurant was nearly empty. It's a nice place, with a good...More

Located on St. Charles Avenue, this upscale French - American bistro serves unusual and delectable fare. This is a very well known restaurant, always a behive of activity, between the clients and the pleasant, efficient staff, and a high noise level. We were greeted warmly...More

We had lunch at Herbsaint on our last day of a recent visit to New Orleans. We had already had great food, as we expected. This meal surpassed the others and was one of the best meals we've ever enjoyed My wife and I started...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
