Headed to Camellia's on a reference from our cab driver - very impressed! The food was good - not many vegetarian options but the red beans and rice was delicious! Definitely will be headed back here for breakfast sometime soon!

Loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. Had breakfast before church. Our party ordered, breakfast sandwich, pecan waffle, grits and eggs, and omelet. All were delicious! This is a very busy restaurant and had great servers.

We must have timed this place right because there was not a wait when we arrived, but there was when we left. This is a fun, casual diner and neat all around place to eat. There are many things on the menu from red beans...More

Camellia Grill is a must do while in the city! While the food is almost your typical greasy diner food, its prepared by a really fun staff! The burgers are amazing, and the freezes (Milkshakes) are to die for.

The staff is very friendly and the service was quick. The menu offers many choices and the food is good! Although I did not have one- the omelettes look delicious!

So a local shopowner sent us to Camellia's after I pressed him for where he eats. He said its a dive. That is probably true but its a great dive with counter only seating that takes you back to the 1930s. The wait staff and...More

I've eaten here on several occasions when I've visited from ATL however today the chicken was hard and the pancakes overcooked. My wife was greatly disappointed as well. It was her first visit. The service remains superlative.

I really don't know. We were at the Camilla Grill right off St. Charles at the end of the streetcar line. I remember seeing it on the menu but I was focused on the pecan waffles.
