This is a beautiful restaurant. We sat at the bar reading the menu and ordered a couple of drinks. While chatting I noticed the barman pouring out two glasses of champagne. I was most suprised to see that as he poured the champagne into the...More

We had an impromptu celebration of 20 people at the bar and the staff handled it beautifully! We ordered continuous appetizers of: antipasta, oysters Irene, escargot, crabmeat gratin, and the best of all paneed oysters! The cocktails were perfect and served without delay throughout our 3...More

Third time to Irene's. Love the new place!! Sat at the bar and got to meet Irene --as the two men sitting beside us knew her. Such a nice woman! I had the lamb chops and my husband the drum. Mouth watering good again! We'll...More

Food was magnificent in an old French quarter building. Everybody seemed to enjoy what they ate, and drank.

Selected Irene's as our first dinner spot on our first visit to New Orleans's French Quarter. The service and food was totally outstanding. As a well travelled couple we would rank Irene's at the top of our list as best dining experiences.

This was a great restaurant and our food was terrific. Restaurant is charming and we had a wonderful time. We had steak, lasagne, and lamp chops. Everyone’s meal was wonderful. If we lived here, we would definitely go back again and again.

We had a meal in the bar area because it was so busy but the staff were very helpful and tried to get us in the restaurant. Michael our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing food and lovely environment.

The service was excellent but we all though that even though our meals were well prepared that they were average at best.

The service was excellent, the food very good. A little noisy, but not obnoxious. Decent wine selection.

Let me begin by saying the food was good; however, our service was not up to standard for a restaurant of this quality. Our party of 4 was seated in a small room with other larger groups of what I believe were businessmen. Because of...More

Yes, that would be okay. Others had jeans on, as I did too. Hope you enjoy Frenchman Street, we go there too.

Actually, we went and we brought our wine with us. Worked out perfectly and the corkage fee was a modest $15. Of course we would not do this if ordering from the menu but it was a special bottle.
