The wait, yes, the wait, that is a problem, but surprise, this time we were seated immediately. It was 6:30 on a Monday. Maybe day and time make a difference. Our foursome was absolutely delighted with the whole dining experience there. Ambiance, waiter, food...not necessarily...More

One our favorite restaurants, they open at 5:30. Early seating is good. A delightful Italian ambiance with art and photos filling the walls. Our waiter had been there 29 years and knew his work well. The first offering was a toast with cherry tomatoes plus...More

We are transplants to New Orleans but we make our way around the city eating as most do. We had the opportunity to finally visit Irene's. It was what we like to refer to as a dining experience. Not just the food but the atmosphere...More

We were a group of 20 celebrating an 80th birthday. The waiters were wonderful with our large group. We had a range of ages, and everyone loved the delicious food. Thank you for a fun-filled, memorable evening!

We had a party of 8 on a busy Saturday night. They accommodated us pretty promptly which was great. Service was excellent. It was really loud in the area where we were seated though. The food was pretty good. The cauliflower crab soup du jour...More

The aroma brings you in and the level of service keeps you there. You have got to try the lamb chops! Best ever! This is not overly pricy and a nice way to end your vacation. Mark it one your list to visit!

Great place to have dinner. Staff is exceptional. Menu is offering a good variety of excellent preparations. Nice atmosphere. Appears to be a little off the beaten track. Will be a favorite.

We shared a soft shelled crab to start and then a whole red snapper on the bone to follow. We wished we'd had a crab each it was so delicious and the snapper was perfectly plain grilled without any of the dreadful sauces so many...More

This is the vibe we were searching for. Wonderful food AND a cool NEw Orleans vibe. Service was excellent. This is a must go.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

There is some on street parking but watch that you park legally or they'll tow you . There are paid parking lots and then you can walk a couple of blocks to the restaurant.
How do I make a reservation? Interested in dinner either Sat, Apr 29 or Mon, May 1 for 4.

Call at least a week in advance, the fact that you are flexible with dates will help.
How do I make a reservation @ Irene's. The phone number only has a recording. No way to input my request. Haven't been able to access their website.

You should be able to make reservations over the phone. Mardi Gras may have affected the hours they are open.
