For a great meal, you can order the signature dishes ... the first appetizer on the menu, the first entree on the menu, the first dessert on the menu. I've been here several times, and these can't be beat.

Great Food ($$$$) & Great service (provided by server, Oliver & Co.). The sauces were spot on. The food was prepared perfectly & the food & service was great. It is a pricey spot but a great place for a romantic dinner. A definite must...when in New Orleans.More

Satisfying! GW Fins offered a number of very appealing menu options. The “GW Fins original” with halibut, snow peas and butter really was satisfying. I also had the lobster bisque which was flavorful but somewhat salty. The drinks from the bar are mixed with expertise....Server staff were friendly and pleasant. I experienced a service hiccup in that they either forgot my order or had some other back kitchen issue. The manager recognized the issue, but it resulted in a very long wait. Thankfully, I had one of those tasty cocktails in hand...More

This was my 3rd visit to GW Fins. I first went in 2012 and most recently visited on NYE to close out a chaotic 2020. What a way to end the miserable year in style!! This is still the best spot in NOLA. Between the...service, the quality of food, and reasonable prices this is the definition of fine-dining done right. Each and every visit has been exceptional and this is one of those restaurants that has kept a high level of excellence with no “off-nights”, which is what separates great restaurants from the best restaurants! You’d be hard pressed to find 10 better restaurants in America. Well done GW Fins.More

I went there for my anniversary dinner and could not have been more disappointed. The service was slow and my food was ice cold. I am very disappointed. The manager that came to our table was very rude. I would NOT return.

The meal was amazing. Being gluten intolerant makes dining out difficult but the way GW Fins accommodated me was beyond my expectations. Every part of the meal and experience was more than I could have asked for. The Chef and especially our server Marlon were...exceptional. We will definitely be back.More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
