I see all these beautiful cakes posted on their website, but my experience was just really sad. I Ordered a very special custom wedding cake for our Halloween elopement. I was so very excited about what they were going to do for us. However, what...I received was far below any decent expectation. They used no creativity and it was very disappointing. In addition, they did not let me know it was being delivered. I had to call them the day of my wedding to even find out where the cake was. Even worse, the cake itself tasted like cardboard. I complained to the Cheryl and offered an acceptance of a 50% refund to at least cover all their cost of ingredients and labor but she has refused and is now ignoring my requests. DO NOT USE this bakery.More

Went here for breakfast- it was open for take out. Very good latte, nice scone and he scrambled up a few eggs for me that I enjoyed a lot. Reasonably priced and a nice guy who made it all happen.

We could have not been more pleased with the service and overall experience that we had. The wedding cake was not only the most beautiful cake that I have seen, it tasted as good as it looked. The grooms cake was the perfect king cake....If we had to do it all over agin, this is the place that we would use. Thank for being so great to work with !! Thank you for making our daugher Caroline so very happy!!!More

Nice, quaint cafe away from the madness. Locals cafe. Irish Breakfast tea was great. Opera was fine though the ganache top layer was frozen solid, so a challenge to eat. Very generous piece. Would visit again for tea, not desert.

The Wharehouse / Arts District in NOLA is on fire. There are so many new restaurants and galleries. To top off the day you may need to swing by for some chocolate or some other tasty treat. Bittersweet offers coffee on one side and bakery...items on the other. The cupcakes are smaller and the cake has a nice flavor and consistency. The icing is quite sweet, but does satisfy the cravings for sweets.More

In need of a small and unfussy breakfasting found Bittersweet Confections. Lovely silky cappuccino and a meal from the sides menu was just perfect. The cakes look amazing but that’s for another day.

The bakery offers a good selection of freshly made cupcakes, petit fours, sweet filled desserts, as well as cakes, for any occasion. There is also a light menu! It's a pretty large space(not just a storefront) for guests to sit, relax and enjoy a sweet...treat or bite to eat. We tried the vanilla cupcake with a generous scope of buttercream icing and the server recommended strawberry dome. Very good vanilla flavor and not too sweet and the dome was great choice, layers of delicious, white sponge cake, strawberry compote, strawberry mousse and strawberry flavoured white chocolate. Yummy. Worth the walk out of the French Quarter for something a little fancy. Only negative was the coffee was not fresh (luke warm) otherwise this would spot would have been full 5 stars!More

Walked by this location and it was intriguing. After checking Trip Advisor reviews, we stopped for breakfast. Were we ever happy we did so! They cook to order so allow yourself time to enjoy a leisurely meal I had the breakfast sandwich. It was so...big you must eat it with a fork. Great crisp bacon too! My husband has the traditional breakfast and said the grits were awesome. The sweets are vast and all of them looked delicious. We settled on a few cupcakes and a cookie to share later. It located very near the WWII museum and you pass if if waking from Canal Street to the museum. Plan to have breakfast there before visiting the museum.More

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
