Took my wife, daughter and grandson for breakfast and enjoyed a great family breakfast with all the standard items you would expect and enough unique items to make it even a bit more enjoyable. You try the omelets(get creative) but have your lady try the eggs benedict, outstanding.

Really great food- huge portions so you might want to share. Bananas foster pancakes the best I've EVER eaten.

This was my second time eating at The Ruby Slipper and I have been dreaming about their Cochon de Lait and Chicken St Charles eggs Benedict for the past year. And it did not disappoint! We were initially told there would be a 25 min wait, but when we saw there were a couple of tables outside and asked about... More

We got drinks from the bar as we waited which passed the time. So many options to choose from. There were 4 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I like that you can choose two different Benedicts. Drinks are delicious as well.

The service was very good and the Bloody Mary's too. The food was just alright. We did not have to wait which was nice.

Suck an incredible spot that's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter on Frenchman and Toure.

We really enjoyed our meal here. We went early, and I highly recommend an early visit before those who had a little too much to drink go out for breakfast at 11. I ordered the BBQ shrimp & grits which seemed pricey at $16 but had a tremendous taste plus a bonus side of a biscuit with praline butter. It's... More

Went for breakfast and from the moment we stepped in we were treated like an old friend. Large menu . Food was good which is why 4 not 5 star but service would be 5+ stars

So glad we visited for breakfast! Awesome... I had the banana and raisin French toast and my boyfriend had the batons. Absolutely enormous portions, we had to take some away with us. But it was so delicious. Enjoyed every mouthful. This has to be THE breakfast place in New Orleans.

Staying in Faubourg Marigny & Bywater

Neighbourhood Profile
Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
