Pick up food from there at least once a week. I don't eat there because they don't serve alcohol I order and have it delivered at michelle bar and take it home.

In New Orleans for French Quarter Festival and had a taste for pizza so I Tripadvisor for recommendations. The Olive Branch lives up to it's positive reviews. Very good thin crust pizza, friendly service. It's BYOB and they were very nice getting us wine glasses and a cork screw. I wouldn't hesitate to try their other dishes after our experience.

Portions are huge. The food is good and so is the service. Highly recommend. Ordered the alfredo and it came with a small pizza basically. Love this place.

The lunch specials are really reasonable and plenty of food. We got the citrus chicken wrap and the citrus salad and they were excellent.

We babysit my nephews that live very close to Olive Branch on Gen DeGaulle. So we frequent this establishment many times. The pizzas and calzones are delish. I love the citrus chicken wrap or salad. I have enjoyed the chicken and bacon ranch wrap as well. And the shrimp and corn bisque is totally worth a visit!! The food tastes... More

Upon our arrival in New Orleans this past week on our way to English Turn my wife and I stopped at Olive Branch Cafe for lunch. This is a very nice little Italian cafe that serves up a variety of dishes from pastas, calzones, salads, sandwiches, soups & pizza. Wanting a light lunch we just ordered the salad and soup... More

My husband and I got seafood pasta dishes and garlic bread. They were excellent. The atmosphere was a little noisy and the tables are close together. But the food makes up for it.

Found this one while looking for another restaurant, how lucky we were! Food was great, loved the courtyard and atmosphere, great bar. Seriously, I felt we were so lucky to find it.

Staying in Algiers

Neighbourhood Profile
Algiers
Sitting pretty across the Mississippi River from the rambunctious French Quarter, the Crescent City’s second oldest neighborhood is as historic and as scenic as any – just a lot less showy about it. With its numerous 19th and early 20th century homes and plentiful parks and riverside green space for cycling and walking, subdued and low key Algiers yields the best views of New Orleans and offers a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle in other parts of town. Most of the area’s activity, for visitors anyway, takes place at Algiers Point where the famous Canal Street / Algiers Ferry has been the main attraction since 1827 and is still giving folks one of the best rides in town at very affordable rates. Restaurants, bars and music venues here all but guarantee the utmost of authentic experiences sans any hype or high prices.
