We stayed at the Monteleone and had breakfast here twice. The reason for my review is to praise the eggs benedict I had both times. They are hands down the best I've ever had. The hollandaise sauce is sweet and savory at the same time....The service was great both times.More

I’m a server so I really appreciate excellent service. Our guy Mike was very polite, helpful with local info, a great server. We stayed in the hotel so this was our first New Orleans meal.

The beignets with the homemade praline sauce was amazing and the coffee was excellent. Pretty restaurant.

Hands down the best beignets we found. We took a trip to NOLA just to find our favorite beignets. These were light and airy and the praline sauce was delicious. Paired with coffee, it was the perfect treat.

Had breakfast a couple of times during our stay. Fritz is a great server, he was also our server during a visit in July. The beignets with the plane sauce are awesome. The banana's foster pancakes and the vanilla bean waffle are also outstanding. The...breakfast sausage is well seasoned and pack a great deal of flavor. Just all around great.More

While the Monteleone Hotel is a great place to stay, there are many other nearby restaurants that are much better than this place. The gumbo was fairly tasteless, except for a lot of salt. The server that I had was more like someone working on...Bourbon street. The cocktails are good, the atmosphere( this review was during Covid) was still pretty nice and much of the staff did reflect the class I would expect. So, no more than "just OK" from me.More

We had breakfast here during our stay. The service was great. We ordered the Montelone breakfast and beignets. Bothe were delicious.

Breakfast was great, but the coffee was the star. Don't miss out. We also had dinner there and the gumbo was to die for. The servers were amazing.

With the carousel bar closed due to the virus this nifty restaurant more than meets the need. My shrimp cocktail was composed of five very large Gulf shrimp. My pina colada was so good that it brought tears to my eyes.

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

Breakfast is my husband’s favorite meal while I like the sweeter side of breakfast. The menu had several choices to please both of us and the portions were more than generous

Breakfast is casual. We did not eat dinner there but did have drinks at the bar and lounge. We did not see anyone in very casual clothing. So if not long pants then dress shorts. Hope this helps.
