We ate here the last night of our trip to New Orleans on the recommendation of the concierge at our hotel. We truly saved the best for last! The service is top notch, with attentive and knowledgable waiters and sommeliers ready to describe the food in detail and make recommendations. They have a wonderful and extensive wine list. We ate... More

I'd heard R'evolution was one, if not the best restaurants in town. I was not disappointed. Everything from the Charcuterie Board, to the Death by Gumbo (with half a quail included) was spectacular. Our group had 5 different entrees; Tryptic of Quail, roasted stuffed chicken, filet mignon, seated tuna and one dinner salad...all were impeccably prepared and masterfully served. Our... More

Brunch is usually not the best way to judge a restaurant (eggs, eggs, and more eggs) but Restaurant R'evolution is the exception with a brunch menu that features many of the foods featured during dinner. Really enjoyed our experience, from the live band playing in the room (and moving between each room) to the natural light coming in through the... More

This is a fabulous restaurant not to be missed! I rank it as one of my top 10 restaurant experiences. The waiter and sommelier were extremely well trained and provided a wonderful evening. All - appetizers, entrees, sides and dessert - were amazing in taste, preparation and presentation. The sauces were delicate, yet with wonderful flavor -amazing.

This was our favorite meal from 4 days in NOLA during All-Star week. From start (crab beignets) to finish (a desert sampler) and everything in between, the restaurant and meal was near perfect. We had the pleasure of a chef's table near the kitchen and it added to the evening.

We are fairly adventurous with our food choices, so the traditional offerings of steak and seafood were fairly basic for us - but they really deliver. Great service, great drinks, great food - and they even accommodated our elementary age kids! Food is very rich, very god.

We had dinner here as part of my husbands office Christmas party. It was very good. The food and service were excellent. One problem is that many restaurants in NOLA have a fixed price dinner during the month of December. Some of those at the table wanted that and some did not. You could only get the fixed rate dinner... More

We came later in the evening without a reservation because our hotel was across the street. They were able to accommodate us and dining was an experience. We let the waiter give us recommendations which we ran with and the food was scrumptious. The kitchen had an open concept and they even had tours of it. It was fun watching... More

We started with cocktails which we brought outside into their courtyard. It was a beautiful evening and the courtyard is quiet and peaceful and great for pictures near the fountain. Dinner was fabulous- Brian, Alex and Alex made wonderful wine suggestions. I started with Death by Gumbo which was a flavorful masterpiece. My wife had the fire roasted oysters. She... More

First time! It was awesome! First, the service was great. From the hostess, to our servers. Second and most important, the food was spectacular. The " Death by Gumbo" was everything and more as it was advertised! Wonderful!! The crab beignet and the Frog legs were great starters. I had the Braised Ribs, and my wife had the Beef Wellington.... Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
