Went to Redemption's after Sunday Mass. Bottomless Mimosa's & Bloody Mary's. The food is incredible! Highly recommend their version of Eggs Benedict, Shrimp & Grits, Fried chicken breast with macaroni & cheese, lamb chops. The desserts are a knock-out! My favorite is the pistachio cheese cake & fruit crepes. From the food to the décor and service, this is a... More

A former church turned into a beautiful restaurant. A really cool place with good food and friendly staff. The food was really good, a little expensive though, but I will definetively go back.

Went there with 7 family members(two birthdays). Both mixed drinks had to be sent back as undrinkable. Waited 40 minutes before the bread and appetizers arrived and the restaurant was only half empty. My fried oysters were cold on my salad. The soups were overly hot (as if just microwaved). My fish was warm but the vegatables were cold.

We were here for Mother's Day Brunch. It was a tad expensive, but what isn't on Mother's Day. The food was excellent, and the portions small but adequate. We had crab Cakes Benedict, Grouper, gumbo, crab and corn soup. All were very good.

We've known this chef (Greg Picolo) and had his food for years. Stunning room, a repurposed church, elegant, subdued. The kind of food you go to New Orleans to get. Oyster bar with a very entertaining and talented shucker (Aaron) and excellent oysters from their own oyster beds. Chef often comes out and circulates, discussed dishes, and pretty much always... The venue was awesome, the food was good and the service was strange. We had a reservation. We arrived. We were greeted super friendly by a staff member who was cut off by the hostess. The hostess asked us to wait and let us standing 10 minutes. Then she looked for our reservation and had to put together a table... More

Lovely art on the walls. Beautiful venue. And the food was fantastic. Our group had the grilled oysters, the raw oysters and the callas for appetizers following drinks of wine, milk punch and martinis. All fantastic, though of the appetizers my favs were the raw oysters and the callas. The table shared the gulf fish, the soft-shelled crab, and the... More

we first took a cab to the restaurant, not knowing that the trolley would have taken us as well. the trolley ride alone is a good reason to visit the restaurant. the food was good. the night we were here was the bartender's first night, we had no idea what we wanted to drink, and he did a great job... This is a beautifully renovated church with tremendous potential. It would take me forever to tell all the issues that befell our group, but after only receiving out appetizers (raw oysters which were delicious, by the way), an entree order being left off the kitchen ticket, a REPEATEDLY screwed up drink order (how does one not know how to make... Let me start by saying I really wanted to like this restaurant because of the location and history. Our service was really bad and food wasn't really that much better. We went here for my husband’s 40th birthday and our server from the start was having problems. I am not sure if she is a new server but she was... More
