Mr. John's Steakhouse is a hidden gem in the city of New Orleans. Many other steakhouses get a lot of publicity like Ruth Chris, Fleming's, etc. But Mr. John's food and service is by far more superb than all of those restaurants. I suggest you...More

Service and food were exceptional as always, was a little noisy though on this particular evening and lighting a little too dim -- almost needed a light to see the menu.

If you are looking for a dining experience with witty waiters and fine wines, this is a top choice. The steaks are claimed to be the best you’ve ever had and I’ve found that to be true. I had a porterhouse that was without question...More

The steak was great; the service was great, but the happy celebration of our 36th anniversary was a real treat. We were treated to desert and accolades.

Wow what a great meal we had at Mr. Johns. It offers more than streak, but the steak is outstanding and cooked to perfection. The service is professional and attentive, but not over bearing. A must try, you won't be disappointed.

We've had the tiramisu and the creme brulee. Both were quite good. I don't recall what other desserts were available.
