Stopped in for lunch the first day in town. The gumbo and red beans and rice were excellent and the service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Oh, and the bloody marys rocked.

The food was good but the service was really slow. Waitress disappeared and was nowhere to be found.

Eh, so-so. Expensive for what you get, a lot of fried or high fat options. It really wasn't what we were expecting or looking for but it was one of the only restaurants that didn't have a line and was convenient to our general location.

Food was a bit pricey for the quality, but I have to say the Bayou Pasta was dee-licious!!! Also, not sure if it was because we were seated at the balcony but service was pretty slow.

We spent 4 days in NOLA and I do believe we had the best jambalaya, fried shrimp, catfish and oysters right here. We went to some nice restaurants but lunch here was great. If you take a ride on the St. Charles line stop here...More

My last review of this place declared it "the best meal in NOLA, so far." I guess it's hard to be great all the time. We specifically arranged one day of our visit this time so we could return for another meal. I ordered the...More

Sorry! Hope my answer is not too late. The one on Veterans Memorial does have a room off to the side, not upstairs. I believe it would have fit at least 20.

There's not an enclosed room, however, there is one area of the restaurant separated from the rest with a half wall that would seat approximately 20.
