My family and I enjoyed our first visit to Domenica from beginning to end! The roasted cauliflower, the pizza, the bread, salumi, pasta and the small dessert token for my birthday were all simply perfect! Service was very good and I plan to return here...More

We had a good server to start (celina), but that quickly went downhill. My rigatoni was supposed to be served in an arrabiata sauce but it wasn't and the food was lukewarm. Where is our server to send it back? She's no where to be...More

I know this is highly rated, but we thought our dinners were quite ordinary. Not bad, not great. Good but not great. I had the campenelle, a pasta with bolognese and Brussels sprouts. Normally, I like both but the combo did not do anything for...More

We had a private dining room for 14 to entertain our Latin American guests attending a trade show. We were very pleased with the decision to host here. Great service, wines and dinner selections. Of course the highlights included the Roasted Cauliflower and pizza appetizers...More

Without a booking you are lucky to get into Domenica even on a weeknight, and it's popularity is justified. Unlucky the first night, we booked for the next and the wait was well worth it. Friendly, informative and knowledgeable staff, great food and a very...More

I had Margaretha pizza that was good. Thin crust and a very tasty sauce. Glass of house wine was $12...bit taken back by that. The pizza was just $13...Some of the dishes presented were not appetizing. Really unusual combinations...Lamb meatballs and spaghetti? Really?

Half-Priced pizzas from 2-5p every day. Half-priced drinks, too, same hours. Eat between 2p and 5p and you’ll pay about $25 per person for one pizza and three drinks.

Finding an Italian restaurant in our hotel was too good to be true. Domenica was not what we expected. Its menu is geared towards the 'foodie' and towards those who like a modern twist on old favorites. While we are not fond of "eye-talian" dishes...More

The entire staff at Domenica is friendly and accommodating. I have dined there several times and every dish was impeccable and a taste bud sensation. You must go. Not your average Italian restaurant. Makes reservations for dinner. But mid afternoon you can walk right in!

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Description
Domenica is a contemporary and inviting Italian restaurant that creates regional Italian dishes with southern and middle eastern influences. The cuisine combines Chef Alon Shaya's Israeli heritage and love of local ingredients with a menu that reflects his time spent cooking and living in the small towns of northern Italy.
