Food didnt blow us away and the server was not engaged. Would of ordered at least 2 more rounds of cocktails if the availability of the server was there.

We stay often at The Roosevelt and usually always have at least one meal at Domenica. Very nice decor and drinks are very good. Service is always on point and the pizza is amazing. Love the crust.

Very pretty restaurant, nice décor. Main dish was pork shanks, which was more like pork shoulder and wasn't so great. Sides were delicious. Dessert was very good - the apple fritters - but the ice cream that came with it was not very good to...More

My wife and I found ourselves at Domenica for dinner on a Sunday evening. Reception and seating went smoothly, as did ordering of cocktails and dinner entrees. Next, however, developed the glitch (more later). Our entrees found my wife ordering squid ink tagliolini with blue...More

We had a late lunch here today, conveniently timed during a big New Orleans thunderstorm. Very nice service, reasonably priced wines by the glass (especially at happy hour pries!) and sublime pizza from a wood-fired oven -- clam for me and roast pork for my...More

Our group of 7 went for dinner and cocktails and very much enjoyed this location. The food was very good and well prepared and our waiter (William) took good care of us. We then strolled around the lobby and marveled at the fantastic clock and...More

I love this restaurant and end up coming here at least once on every trip to New Orleans. I brought a group of friends again this time, and they were also pleased. The cauliflower appetizer is still divine, and we got the affettati misti to...More

The pizza, and especially the crust, is the best in New Orleans, and well-priced. I love the octopus carpaccio and the roasted cauliflower with marscarpone cheese dip is amazing. Most folks order the lasagna, which is also fabulous. Prices are very reasonable. It is a...More

I will start by saying that the burrata and honey with toast was superb!! I think if we had stuck with some of the small plates it would have been a better experience. I was not impressed at all with the lasagna. I saw béchamel...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Domenica is a contemporary and inviting Italian restaurant that creates regional Italian dishes with southern and middle eastern influences. The cuisine combines Chef Alon Shaya's Israeli heritage and love of local ingredients with a menu that reflects his time spent cooking and living in the small towns of northern Italy.
