We’d heard a lot about this place and so we went. OMG! The beignets melt in your mouth. Forget about the calories and just enjoy. I also brought back a cup with the logo as a wonderful reminder. A must when in New Orleans!

The wait to sit down at Cafe du Monde can be brutal but the line for food-to-go is considerably shorter. It is worth trying one of their beignets-they’re a bit smaller than Cafe Beignet’s beignets which I liked- and cafe au lait.
