Holy cow! This place blows the other “small plates” restaurants out of the water with its authenticity, ambience, and variety. There is a gluten-free menu that seemingly contains darn near everything on the regular menu (even a gluten-free bread basket). Yay to the bartender, the...More

Let me start off by saying that I am a big fan of Tory Miller and Graze is probably my favorite restaurant in Madison. That being said, the food at Estrellon fell short. In my opinion, the food was underwhelming. There was just nothing that...More

The menu was a bit overwhelming since everything sounded delicious. All four of us decided on the chefs choice menu! It made ordering easy and less stressful! The chef chose great items. Everything was great! The dessert was the show stopper as our waitress said!...More

From the atmosphere, the service, the food and even the music, Estrellon does not disappoint. The tapas style menu is very diverse and the dishes I sampled were delicious. We started with the Potatas Bravas which we have had in many tapas restaurants and this...More

In Madison to see a show and my husband asked for a tapas dinner. This is fine dining tapas. We did the chefs choice dinner for 2 with wine pairings. It was an amazing dinner. Highlights were the ham with pickles on bread, paella, and...More

Food was good, not great and overpriced. The service was great. We try: -tortilla española (OK), -Gambas al Ajillo (OK, but I had better ones and the large plate is 5 shrimps), -New Potatoes (BAD, the chorizo was so thinly sliced that it has a...More

The restaurant is beautifully appointed in one of the posh, new apartment and business office buildings just of the busy and ever fun State Street. The waitstaff seemed friendly and felicitous though they seemed to make the assumption that if one has not eaten at...More

We crowned a gorgeous day in Madison, Wisconsin, after my reminiscence of graduate school glories, having dinner at the Estrellón Spanish restaurant. Owned and operated by the Etoile group of restaurants, I expected nothing but excellence. I was not disappointed. Our evening started at the...More

We ate here based on the reviews on TA. I think the food had the potential to be really good, but it fell short. For example, the pulpo (octopus) was mostly potatoes and a little dry. The small tapas were very small and a little...More

I was astonished by this place located on the street where I used to live a decade a go! Great seating, extraordinary service. My favorite dish was Valenciana Paella, of course. Many small plates and appetizers were quite creative, though I was neutral about the...More

Description
The latest endeavor from Chef Tory Miller, Estrellón, brings Spanish-influenced small plates and tapas to downtown Madison, with the same locally-sourced vision as L'Etoile, Graze, and Sujeo. Expect simplistically beautiful composed dishes, housemade charcuterie, incredible Iberian wines, and rich mahogany woodwork. We're proud to represent and support our local family farmers and producers. With a blend of Spanish-imported and Wisconsin-grown ingredients, the cultural and regional merging at Estrellón is a dining experience that is uniquely Madison. Reservations recommended for the Dining Room. Our open Kitchen Bar & Tapas Bar seating is first-come, first seated during our regular service hours.
