Plan accordingly because this is a popular place. Stop in for a drink and meal and you'll find out why. Extensive beer and food selection. I got the Prime Rib sandwich and never put it down. Once I took my first bite, it stayed in...More

Ate cheese Kurds for the first time visiting friends this past weekend and the fried Kurds did not disappoint. The beer selection was abundant and the waitress was informational. Also we were quoted a 35 minute wait that only ended up as twenty in which...More

The food is a great combination of Wisconsin and food! A bar like environment with good healthy and "comfort" food, and State favs including good cheese curds. But the service gives them the 5th star...they were busy but nonetheless fast and friendly. Good for all...More

After a morning of meetings on the square, we decided to grab lunch at the Old Fashion -- our first visit to the restaurant. It is a popular location for lunch with a steady stream of business while we were there though we were seated...More

I visited on Friday 4/27/18 before 5pm for an early dinner. Service was meh- he didn't seem to care if we were there or not and they weren't busy. Usually servers come over after the food has been delivered to see if you need anything...More

Every time I come t Madison I stop here for the cheese curds. It seems the service gets worse every time, the bartenders just don't care. What a shame. Also I know Cheese curds are greasy but the cooks should shake the grease off a...More

If you don't order one of their signature Old Fashions, there is a large selection of beers. Lightly battered cheese curds were very good. Still our best curds are in New Glarus Wisconsin. Fish fry has choice of Cod, Perch, Walleye or one of each....More

This place is located in a sweet area, right across from the capital and surrounded by bars and restaurants. Tap list here is very impressive with 51 beers on draft alone. Cheese curds are excellent and the sandwich I got was amazing!!!

Stopped here for lunch, and decided on the grilled cheese sandwich and cup of Green Bay chili. The grilled cheese was stuffed with red bell peppers and bacon, amazing! The Green Bay chili was great to dip the grilled cheese sandwich in, just an option,...More

Understandable why people wait for this restaurant. The atmosphere matched the college town vibe. Lots of selection from drinks to food...and the plates were generous. I suggest sharing!

They don't take reservations. The restaurant is on two levels, so you may have to wait a while to be seated on the level you enter on. It is usually pretty crowded so getting around in a wheelchair might be difficult but... More
