Small place, and the food is for take out only. Great for a lunch outside, or at work. Not expensive.

I love pasties. I went to college for two years in the U.P. Of Michigan and they took their pasties seriously! I can say without reservation that these pasties, while not exactly the same as the very best I had in the UP, are on nearly same level. This was definitely not a Yooper's pasty - it's better than that. Tender crust and generous fillings. Got a breakfast pastie at Myles Teddywedgers and it was pretty good but not like the pasties I have had in the UK. Good but not the same. Fast, friendly staff. Great location for eating on the go. Half a pastie is more than enough, they are HUGE and filling.

We were pleased to see the Teddy Wedges shop following our Capitol tour. Cornish traditional meat pie baked for the miners who were the source of the "badger" label in the Badger State. We decided to stop in and ordered the classic pastie. It was big enough for both of us. We had it cut in half and since there is no place to sit inside we sat by the Capital. We thought the pastie was good.

I visited Teddywedgers for lunch on a recent weekday. It's a tiny store on a triangular corner with no seating right across from the capitol. Had the classic pastie. This is what I call coal miner food my grandma made this type of stuff for my grandpa. Those cold coal minors used to put these on a hot rock deep in the coal mines. Not the same as in the past . Have eaten here for years .Crust thick and tasteless . No root vegetables . Too salty . Very sad

I used to work on the Square in the mid-80's and often had a teddywedger for lunch. Thirty years later and some things never change -- just as good now as they were then.
