We arrived shortly after the opening at 5 PM and were placed at a nice booth. The atmosphere was dim with nice décor. Our waiter Daniel was very prompt and attentive throughout the dining experience. The salad was fresh and abundant. The chicken entrée and the tuna were excellent. The lava cake finished our meal in filling fashion. The restaurant... More

A Valentine's Day dinner for four. The intimate atmosphere and friendly staff made for a most comfortable and enjoyable evening. We began with an antipasto plate that easily sufficed for the table, along with a very nice house Chianti. The menu is varied and contains all the standard Italian dishes (pastas, parmigianas, etc,) as well as dishes which would be... More

My wife and I and another couple were visiting Hot Springs and the proprietor of the B$B where we stayed recommended this place for dinner. And what a great rec it was! This is Italian like you imagine it should be but rarely get. The marinara which covered my veal parmesan on a bed of angel hair pasta may be... More

We go to Hot Springs Arkansas for horse racing a few times each year. We found an Italian Restaurant called Via Roma. It is the BEST restaurant in Hot Springs. Make reservations before you go. The mussels were great. Split the salad. The portions are huge. My wife ordered the Lobster and she could not eat all of it. I... More

This was our first visit. The food is good, no question. It's all about the marinara and they have a superb one. As for ambience, I could do without the loud Italian music that goes well beyond background noise and I could certainly do without the big screen TV showing images of Italy as if we were all sitting in... We went because hotel recommended it. No reservation was made. They were terribly understaffed once the reservations began to arrive. We waited 45 min for a steak-good thing we said bring the other food as it was ready. Took the steak to go. Food was great, server apologetic. House Merlot was fruity.

We were a party of 9 and each ordered a different dish. It is ok, not the greatest Italian food. The mushroom soup tasted as if it were made of cream and maggi cubes. The meat ravioli tasted like the mushroom soup. The eggplant parmesan was nothing to write home about. So were the other pasta dishes. The side salad... More

We went there last Saturday night and had a wonderful time. The wine pour was noticeably larger than normal and we immediately received a basket of fresh bread with a side of minced olives/olive oil concoction. I all ordered small salads and I ordered Shrimp Chef Style, my mom ordered Chicken Marsala and my hubby had one of the nightly... More

I'm not sure what the hype is about. The service was great, but the meal was not at all. I ordered chicken piccata and my husband ordered lasagna. You can't get more Italy than that, but they managed to screw it up. The chicken was barely lukewarm, with lots of garlic, which isn't normally the case with this dish. The... More
