I was here on my last visit to Bali around 6 weeks ago. I did a review at that time and have called I again to check out something different on the menu and to confirm my rating of very good previously given This visit I decided on squid with garlic and chilli. It was delicious. For such a small... More

I have passed this place so many times. It is the main back route to avoid traffic in the area. I knew of some back packer residences but never really considered the warungs there. This night I was desperate for sate as I had not had then for ages and not this trip. They do have a menu at the... More

Title local home cooking family run Warung from all of the Grand Sinar guests who would visit nightly out the back door of this hotel. We were not disappointed. We like local cooked food as we can get euro food back at home so to find a super duper cheap Balinese Warung where we can enjoy Bali home cooking for... More

Great little warung cheap fresh food. They do fantastic fresh juices as well as a huge range of different authentic bali dishes. Ask what they recommend and they will give you a good honest opinion, the whole fish is usually fresh from the markets that day and is yummy. Great family who run it and always cold bintang.!

As they say, don,t judge a book by its cover, as I did the first time I was told about Warung Kartini.Great little place, excellent food, service and cold beer all at a low price. Will be back for a few more meals next holiday.

How much better can this place get, Nyoman and family are fantastic. It's definitely no frills but and the food is absolutely brilliant, the chicken fried rice for 18000rp is simply amazing! Also good for a later meal as well as they will generally stay open late for customers. Cannot wait to get back!

Warung Kartini was our local fish restaurant. The fish was always fresh and at affordable prices. Entree, main and a few Bintangs will set you back approximately $10. Service was great and the family dogs are smiley and friendly (for those of us that miss our pets whilst abroad). We recommend the spring rolls, tomato salad, whole fish done anyway... More

We ate here about 20 times over Dec 2015 and Dec 2016, as we have done for the last 10 years or so. Husband and wife setup Nyoman and Nyoman do the cooking and nephew Arya does the table service and also delivery. Great Nasi goreng, Sweet and sour, curry beef or chicken, chicken satay, chicken and cashew nuts the... More
