If you are in Kampot for even a day, do not miss out on Simon’s. First off, the service was amazing. We arrived at around 6p and wondered why such a well-reviewed restaurant was so empty. Then 7p rolled around and the place was packed....As we dined there, we realized why. Upon seating you, they bring you three papadum crackers and three chutney sauces to accompany them. They were delicious and after a long day of exploring, we devoured them. Unlike our experience in other Indian restaurants, they quickly offered to bring us more papadum and we obliged. We also ordered some $1 draft beers which they served in beautifully frosted mugs each time. So refreshing! For dinner, we ordered butter chicken curry, plain naan, and garlic and cheese naan. They offered rice, but we rarely order anything that you can’t eat on naan. The butter chicken was incredible, the plain naan delicious, but the garlic and cheese naan was out of this world. Even Alicia liked it and she doesn’t typically like naan with cheese on it. We liked it so much, we used the small amount of curry leftover to order another plate of garlic and cheese naan. We quickly scooped up the rest of the curry with it and had no qualms about eating what remained of the naan on its own. In the end, we were sooo stuffed and our tab was a modest $17 for all of that food. Needless to say, we will definitely be back.More

Food from Simon’s is always amazing, full of flavor, tender chicken and piping hot. Last night for the first time I actually sat in and ate, the standard of service was just exceptional. Not the usual service I am used to here in kampot, was...so nice to be taken care of and again everything was delicious. Can’t recommend enough!More

My Khmer friends traveling with me like Indian food and they spotted this place walking around Kampot. I never miss an opportunity to eat Indian so when they chose it I was delighted. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was a little muggy so...we went for the aircon. We shared two lamb curries, fish tikka, and a chicken dish. All dishes were excellent but the chicken was a little dry. Great flavors all around. We also had some garlic naan. Steamed rice was complimentary. Server was a friendly Bangladeshi. The owner was cooking and came out to check on our experience. Recommended.More

I don't actually eat in the restaurant, so can't comment on anything other then the food, but for about 2 years have been (semi) regularly getting their food delivered to my home using Tuk Out. Last night I ordered the onion pakora and the chicken...korma. I can honestly say it was the best Indian food I have ever had. I normally get the beef vindaloo which is also superb, but the chicken korma was just sublime! I have also tried the other 3 Indian food places here in kampot, most of them in Phnom Penh, have eaten Indian food in Australia for decades, Fiji - basically everywhere I've travelled to that has Indian restaurants. Simons is right up there with the best of them!More

I don’t do reviews too much and this place was a very pleasant surprise. We had the butte chicken, fish curry, and the paneer tikka massala with butter naan. What a treat! Well done and compliments to the chef. Great service and a very nice...place to eat.More

Great food! Amazing curry but even better the samosas, the samosas are probably the best thing! Also naan is legendary
