Best curry I had in Cambodia

Unfortunately they were out of the crab dish I wanted as we got there late for lunch, however the tofu curry was the moat flavorful curry I had in my 15 days in Cambodia. The fish ceviche was also tasty and refreshing- I would’ve ordered more it was so good. The staff was sweet as well. Definitely worth it, you will Pay a bit more but it is exceptional quality!

The Pork Parmentier dish was SO tasty. I didn’t give this place 5 stars because although this dish was incredible, my boyfriend had the $19 steak with pepper sauce which were both disappointing. The cocktail he ordered was also quite watery...

Best place to eat in town

This amazing place does not only have a big terrace facing the river, but also a beautifully decorated restaurant room once you go through the door. The food choices go from local cuisine to occidental dishes, all accompanied by a nice cocktail from their extensive menu or a glass of wine. If, like us, you enjoyed the place so much that you want to go back, make sure to try breakfast at Atelier, same food quality with a great choice of iced/hot coffee.

ATTENTION The restaurant is now called ARTISAN, but is probably no longer managed by the creators of the restaurant previously called L'ATELIER (even if the premises have not really changed). Avoid absolutely, overpriced tourist trap, $6 for a cocktail made with poor quality soda, uninteresting cuisine and very expensive for Cambodia. Nothing to do with the comments left regarding the previous establishment.

We dined there 2 times outside, even if the room is pretty. Very professional welcome. We tested the ceviche as starters, and dish breast of rosé duck at will and Amok fish. It was excellent. We went back for the crab cannelloni: a real treat, very fine! Suggestion maybe reduce to 2 cannelloni by offering the same amount of crab?

Very nice typical restaurant in Kampot

We ate very well at the Atelier restaurant. It is located in front of the river in the center of Kampot. The menu is varied and offers typical dishes as well as some pastas and steak. The setting is minimalist. The dishes were delicious. Very good value for money. The staff and service were very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Oh fear

Usually like to eat here when in Kampot but it has declined in terms of service and stock management. The food was good, what I got. Ordered baby roast potatoes with my duck but they had none, fair enough it's possible to run out. Finished first course and cleared away and despite plenty of waitresses by the till no one came to see if we wanted anything else. After we had the menu no one came to take an order. Then they did not have the vanilla ice cream which came with it. Any one of these things can happen to a restaurant but to have run out of main staple menu items and such in attentiveness from the staff seems to suggest a place on the way down.

Very good address if you want to enjoy Kampot pepper. Everything was excellent, the cocktails, the dishes and the desserts. Also lovely staff! If you have the opportunity I highly recommend! The prices are fair for the quality, certainly more expensive than local restaurants but it's worth the detour!

Last day in kampot

Went there with my family it was a restaurant on the riverside road, good atmosphere and attentive staffs. The food was excellent and the price was a bit more expensive than other places, but it was worth it. Perfect!!!

Cute cozy little place

I went for breakfast and their Croque Monsier is to die for but the coffee could be improved. The atmosphere is ok, I love that they use some live plants as decoration.
