Enjoyable meal and excellent service

The food here is delicious - fantastic spicy fish amok (up there with the best we’ve had), pork ribs in sweet and sour sauce, and chicken in lemongrass and chilli (also spicy!). When we arrived there wasn’t a table for four so they promptly set one up for us. They were also happy to swap rice for noodles for my mum who hasn’t been feeling well, which we really appreciated this. Great meal and unbelievable value.

Ate here 5 nights straight as SO DELICIOUS

We were recomended this restaurant by our hotel and we were not disappointed. From the fish amok to the pad thai and various stir fry dishes all were extremely flavorful and they even gave us noodles instead of rice one evening when we asked for it. Prices are good and the service friendly and helpful if a little slow at times. Get here early (by 6.30pm) to ensure a table at this little gem. They also do an amazing drink called a Kampot Cooler which is so good I asked for the recipe! Eat here and you'll want to come back for more.

Good food but very salty

The food tasted very good, had great flavor, was fresh, and a good cheap eat. However, the food was over seasoned with salt. All of the dishes we ate had too much salt. It didn't spoil the meal but definitely didn’t get an excellent rating. It was disappointing as the flavors and tastes were great!

We had dinner here last night and we chose this place based on TA reviews. Yes it’s cheap (32000 riels for two vegetarian dishes and two cans of beer) but so are the dozens of other places where we ate while visiting Cambodia. Service is not so friendly or organized, the tables and chairs and menus are dirty. The sitting part on my chairs was not attached. The food was just average based on about 20 dining experiences in the region (at the same price point). The setting is nice.

Worth it 😊

Hands down the best local food I've had in Kampot so far. The price is pretty cheap as well, and the staff was so friendly I felt very welcomed. I recommend everyone to give this place a try. try the amok and the cha kroeung monors(idk if i spelt it right)

Great value Thai restaurant in centre of Kampot

Restaurant is unremarkable and a bit shabby, but food we had was fresh and tasty and cheap as chips 😂. Two main courses and two sides with 2x beers for 12 usd. We love Thai food hence our visit. Position is in the hub of the tourist area.

The V. The food we ate was carelessly prepared and tasteless. The bistro was very busy, the staff left an unmotivated and annoyed impression. The toilet was by far the dirtiest we saw in a restaurant during our trip to Cambodia. We advise against stopping by.

Lovely fresh Khmer food on a classic Kampot street corner.

Many of Kampot's streets still have the feeling of old Asia. So where better to spend a little time than on the corner of this street eating delicious Khmer food. A family run restaurant which is well worth a visit or two. A wide selection of Khmer dishes means you'll need several visits to make the most of this lovely bistro.

Delicious local cuisine

Really delicious restaurant. We ordered fried rice and chicken with coconut pineapple sauce. For drinks we ordered caipirinhaswhich were really good. Service was efficient and prices reasonable. We spent really nice evening

If I want Asian food Lemongrass Bistro is the best

If I want Asian food Lemongrass Bistro is the place for me. I love Amok fish it is the best . It has beans I usually or always exclude them. This is the exact same my favorite dish I used to eat in Cambodia for 3+years. The food is my number one reason for going to Lemongrass the other reason is the staff. If Mr Vodka isn't busy you can have a conversation with him , he is a friendly person and you usually have a smile on your face talking with him and also you will se his art around the wall it’s amazing . So if want some Thai food or khmer food Lemongrass Bistro is the place to be. Good food enjoyable and attentive staff decent prices.

amazing family owned restaurant

happened upon this place on our first night in kampot and came back on our last night. the cha kroeung was one of th was e best dishes we’ve had in all of our travels in southeast asia!! I’m not a big drinker, and I got the tamarind martini and loved it. the staff and the art is amazing too. highly recommend if looking for delicious khmer food in kampot.

Don’t look anywhere else in Kampot for traditional Khmer food!

The food is amazing and the best Khmer food I’ve eaten yet. Will definitely recommend to come here. The waitress was a lovely young girl with impeccable english. The restaurant is family owned and run. Check out the artwork on the walls all done by one of the guys that owns it (I think). It was local though and the artist went out to the kitchen. If in Kampot eat here!

Thai Khmer Quality

This is a modest Thai / Khmer restaurant a block from the Riverside. I ordered the fish amok with a somtam starter. The amok was very creamy and possibly the best I've had in years. Decent somtam but ask for extra chilli if you like spice.

The food is absolutely delicious! The staff were so friendly and helpful even though it was a busy evening. The food did take a little while to arrive but it was definitely worth the wait. Big portions and a great value for money!

Forgotten! No excuses !

One hour wait after order The restaurant is empty No one to inform us; Nothing ! Desperately empty table When we report the problem: we have clearly been forgotten! We are asked to wait again. Not a word of apology! And what's more, they laugh when we leave the table (there are two of us)
