San Luis is not unlike many Mexican restaurants, with the familiar numbered meal menu and tasty, somewhat authentic food. But of all the Mexican restaurants in the Greensboro market, I keep coming back to this one. The chips are fresh, the salsa more flavorful than most, the corn tortillas homemade. The service is good and the prices are lower than... More

Convenient to downtown and the coliseum area, San Luis is one of my husband's " go to" lunch destinations. Consistently good food at a great value. You will not leave hungry.

I've eaten at San Luis several times and it's always very good. I've eaten several dishes there and my favorite so far are the brochetas (plates beautifully!) and the especial de la cocina. I always look forward to the food there. The service is friendly and attentive.

I hate inconveniencing people and unfortunately, I must have inconvenienced our waitress by placing our food order. She was brutal. I don't think she spoke to us the entire time. Ordering extra salsa is inapproriate. There must have been at least 1 staff member for each table yet we couldn't get more chips. Don't go in with high expectations, or... More

Easy to find with plenty of parking. The restaurant is clean and well managed with a pleasant staff. Seating is varied- tables, booths & open air. The service is very good- prompt & polite. The menu is tempting; take your time and look it over they offer many choices. We have enjoyed every meal we have had here. If you... More

I'm a value sort of guy and this place has it. They've been in business for quite a while and I'd just not stopped in until lately; but I've already been back twice. I must agree with recent reviewers that it's no showplace as far as appearances but don't let that keep you away. Lee Street is an older section... More

This place is still very much open for business - there is another location (San Luis II) farther our High Point Road - but it didn't take the place of this one. This is a small restaurant (was originally a fast food restaurant way back in the day), and it gets noisy when it gets crowded. The service is friendly,... More
