We had lunch here last week. The burgers, which used to be so hot and juicy, were flat and dry and the buns tasted stale. The hamburger meat itself had that pinkish color inside and I don't mean the pink of a medium-rare burger, it looked more like a meat-like product than 100% ground beef. We voiced our concerns and... I am so sorry you did not enjoy your most recent visit. I can assure you we only use 100% fresh Sterling Silver Beef which we hand patty daily as we have since we opened over 5 years ago. Our bread is delivered daily and we receive great feedback on it freshness. We obviously had an issue on this visit... More

Hidden gem for great burgers. 1,000s of ways to order a burger and almost as many to order fries. Staff is top notch! Friendly, helpful, and super efficient. Our new "go to" place for burgers.

Nothing negative to write here - small joint but huge on flavor. Lots of variations of burgers and fries. It was delicious and I loved the option of truffle oil fries to spice my lunch up a bit. If I were local, I'd eat here all the time!

You dont expect an old gas station to be a fabulous burger spot. You can even bring your dog and eat outside at the picnic tables. The food is pure American, great burgers and fries and rings!!

The burgers here are so great! So many choices! I recently discovered the Southern Peanut Chicken Sandwich! I have it without the mayo since I'm not a fan of any mayo but I have heard people say it's delicious! Southern Peanut Chicken $6.99 Diced grilled chicken with shredded lettuce, crispy onions, fresh ginger, siriacha mayo, house made peanut sauce served... More

Delicious food with awesome folks cooking in the back. The menu is absolutely huge. You can have a custom burger or choose one of the scrumptious combinations they have put together. Highly recommend!!

Love this spot for a burger. I've visited this location a half dozen times, each time the food and service was consistently outstanding. Today I had the bison meatloaf. It was fantastic. My husband the almost-sized burger, which was a little small. The fries were good, hot and just the right amount of cripsiness. The milkshake, though, was lacking. I... More

Been dining at the original Big Burger Spot on Battleground for years. Burgers, White Truffle Fries, Black Bean and Bison Burgers, Salads and on and on. A very diverse menu. Yet, as great as the food is, where else can you sit and dine with painted images of more than a hundred expectant, happy pets looking on? Such an upbeat,... More

We happened on the Big Burger Spot while exploring, and I'm really glad we did. One of the best burgers I have ever eaten and at least a dozen types of fries, make this a place I will visit every trip to Greensboro.

When you think of a burger joint attached to a gas station, you wouldn't expect some of the best burgers in town. Good bun/bread, not greasy, cooked to order with a surprising French fry menu (white truffle Parmesan anyone?). Crowded, small, and delicious.
