The meat is really good, but the pimento cheese takes it over the top! Their fries are good too. We will definitely return!

I've been living in the surrounding neighborhood for a couple of years now but it wasn't until tonight that I just stopped in on a spur and was quite impressed. I had been hearing a lot of "hype" about this joint for some time and now I can see why. Excellent all the way around. Very friendly staff, eager to... More

Have only been once, but was pretty good burger. Patio tables outside for that fresh-air dining. Will go again.

Found this in a Top 10 Burger Joint List somewhere and made a point to visit when I was in town. It was a cold, dreary, rainy day, but the place was hoppin'! I ordered at the register and opted for the James Taylor - a Carolina-style hamburger with chili and slaw. I added sweet potato fries as well. The... More

Nice little laid back place that would be a huge hit with the college age folk if it were near a campus. Burger was really good- on a level with the more popular Hops. Prices were good. Respectable beer selection- I went Red Oak and enjoyed it. Smaller place and parking places don't come easy but the neighborhood is real... More

I have been to Emma Keys dozens of times but not in about a year. I don't know who owns it now because it's obviously changed hands. The restaurant was filthy and the staff was sitting outside joking and smoking. Then when she came in she was on her cell phone. The hamburgers were very different. Dry and the buns... More

Wow... great burger, incredible fry's, however, the buns were flat out stale... what a shame, it's not typical - however, it was served... related, we ordered onion-rings, the server who took our order brought out the burgers, and said, they didn't have any onion-rings tonight - what a goofball... I guess the kid smoked too many spliffs in his day... More

Has a flat iron grill. Burger is scooped on to the grill and squashed down. Plenty of fries. Neat little place in a residential area along with about 4 other eateries. Been here a couple of times and each time is just as good.

Went there cause is supposed to be one of those hidden jewels. Liked the burgers, but they are not as good as I expected them to be. On the down side, fries were not well done and there were a lot of flies in the restaurant.
