Nice quiet restaurant for couples. Sit and talk, enjoy a cocktail then enjoy a wonderful meal. You never feel rushed. We have eaten there several times. And look forward to going back. The food is great and the staff is very friendly.

A somewhat upscale restaurant in an old log cabin. It is off the beaten path and has nice wooded views. We had excellent steak and seafood. Most appropriate for couples - romantic dinner, etc. Restrooms were ok, but in much need of updating - has 1950's wallpaper.

In the wake of fierce competition among restaurants, my family will not return. Besides the menu being small, the fare was mediocre at best, leaving the hair in my wife's salad the icing on the cake. The waitress lacked any sincerity as she brought out a house wine to compensate for the hair. Basically, it was one step above deli... More

This long time staple of Gatlinburg survives thanks only to its kitchen. Our host was clearly someone's grandson or nephew, tennis shoes, untucked plaid shirt and all. Waitstaff were hopefully the "B" team, as they were uniformly listless. The low-ceilinged dining room was about 10° too warm, with fireplaces at each end. Thankfully, this place survived the wildfire; whether they... More

Love the building, location, history, and the food! Usually get the roasted prime roast. Very nice atmosphere. We have never had a bad experience in service or food!

Had a family birthday dinner at the Greenbriar. The food was NOT good- veggies greasy, fried lobster tough, steaks only average. Service was terrible - couldn't even get enough attention to get a drink refill. OVERPRICED. OUTDATED.

Went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner upon recommendation of Trip Advisor and the Concierge at our resort. The Greenbrier is perched on the side of a hill well off the Beaten Path and in an Old Log Cabin that has been expanded for the Restaurant and what may be an event center. They do not take reservations, however,... More

I have to visit Greenbriar at least once a year when visiting to get my fix of some of the best escargot and probably the only restaurant in Sevier County!

My hubby and I thought we would enjoy a real nice dinner, you know something quaint and little upscale WRONG. Place needs serious work, run down carpet and linens and light fixtures and it could be amazing if a major overhaul was done. Food was very expensive and not happy about such bland dinner my Rib eye would have been... More

We had heard of the place, and after checking it out discovered it was well recommended and haunted too! So we decided to check it out. The drive up to it is interesting, narrow almost single lane road, so be aware of that. Steaks were tender and tasty, sides were great. Service was super, some of the best we've had.... More
