You can't get here by accident. The Border Inn is on HWY 50 at the Utah/Nevada border. The hotel rooms are very basic in Utah. The restaurant/bar/casino is in Nevada. The restaurant was surprisingly good and the service was excellent. Great Basin National Park is only a few miles away.

Don't expect more than basic truck stop food, but it was decent. Open when everything else in Baker is closed.

This place is miles from anything yet they do not seem to take advantage of people with their prices....yes, may be a little more than in the metropolitan areas of our country, but this place is REMOTE. The service was quite good, and the waitress would come talk with us when she was not busy.....gave us an opportunity to get... More

This was the only restaurant open during our fall visit to Great Basin, and the man at our hotel who referred us told us to "go to the gas station." As a result, we were a bit skeptical, but the food was very, very good, and the service was excellent. The menu is one step above basic - chicken fried... More

The food was pretty good but somewhat expensive due to the remote location. Warning and a word to the wise: park where you can keep an eye on your vehicle. Without out going into the details, two males in their late teens/early 20's and a female in her early 20's were behaving suspiciously while we were waiting for our carryout... More

I had the biscuits & gravy and a side order of bacon for lunch. Best I have ever had! Big chunks of sausage in the gravy. Five big thick pieces of bacon cooked just right. Definitely would recommend stopping here in the middle of nowhere to eat.

Very pleasant people hotel is old school but very nice. You have everything in one place. Very quiet which is amazing because it's right on highway. The food was very good.

I had the open faced roast beef sandwich and could only eat half of it. My husband had a hamburger. Both of us enjoyed our meals.

Food average. Most staff very friendly except for one guy which he was like a punk. Oh well, I wouldn't stop there on our vacation ever again .

As there are only 3 restaurants in the Baker, NV area, this was by far the best we visited. Basically a truck stop on the border just 7 miles short of Baker. We ate breakfast and dinner there for 3 days. The Electrolux in Baker was closed and the TD Restaurant was pricey for what you got. The 1 dinner... More
