Love this place... Great spot for a "couples night out" ..Especially if you go when they have performances.. Live music, poetry and local bands. It's kinda hidden.. Not on a main street surrounded by many stores. It's not the biggest spot as far as size.. It's enormous as far as character.. The hostes is very nice.. Very warm friendly, social... More

Ate here this morning with my gal. She had the banana pancakes with chantilly cream and side of pork sausage and I had the brioche French toast with chantilly cream with side of bacon. The food was very good, nice and sweet. Cream of top was delicious, neither of us had to add syrup. The side meats were also very... More

This is a nice cozy place to eat. It attracts the local area artists and young workers from the neighborhood library, museum and botanical garden. Aside from someone else's lip prints on my water glass. The service is on point. The bar maid was very accommodating which made up for any earlier oopsies. The burger is big and the fries... More

First time visit and loved the menu range. Bulgogi was superb. Several things I would have liked to try. Service was the best and didn't rush us when it was obviously we were chatting on and on... Cheryl greeted us. Only downsides were small table and awkward (and somewhat ineffective) dealing with outside cold temperatures and poor insulation. Definitely strongly... More

My husband and I split the bulgogi rib eye steak and creole shrimp. Fresh from a trip to S. Korea and living near New Orleans, I think I know what I'm talking about when it comes to these 2 dishes. The steak was the best steak I've ever put in my mouth! Better than anything I had in S. Korea!... More

The food here is plentiful, but the tables are not. Everything was so good and fresh. Not a fancy place by any means, but if you just want good food I'd recommend this place!

We came here for a coffee and scones just before our Brooklyn tour. The service was very good; friendly and helpful. The coffee and scones were both good without being great. Nice stop for coffee.

We were looking for a place to eat after going to a concert at the Brooklyn Museum, and just happened upon this place. Not much to look at from the outside, but cozy on the inside. The staff were great, and served us some homemade cocktails until the kitchen was switched over for dinner. We had 2 salads to start... More

Cheryl's is a great place for breakfast lunch or dinner. It's quaint and rustic, tucked away right across from the Brooklyn Museum, the Grand Army Plaza Public Library and bucolic Prospect Park. The cafe has its own garden in the back. She serves a familiar blend of old standards with and updated healthy twist. The food is great. Try it.

We went for brunch on Sunday and seemed to hit it just right - 11am - no line. We decided to sit outside which was was lovely on a warm fall day. The only downside was the relatively small table. We each had the prix fixe menu with a cocktail and beverage. Servers were attentive and friendly. Two of us... More
