We ate at the Good Fork in Red Hook, Brooklyn last night and had a delightful time and delicious meal. I had the roast chicken which was on a bed of mashed potato and was moist, warm and delicious. One of my companions had the streak and eggs which he said was a nice combination and very tasty. Good size... More

The food is sensational, the drinks are great and good atmosphere. In fact it would be 5 stars but it is a bit cramped with some tight spots inside. Loved their specials and the red hook neighborhood. Is funky great. We go several times a year and usually take others here

This place is incredible. From the moment you walk in the door you feel like you are at home. A small place with a patio area for the good weather days you should probably make reservations because its that good and is always packed. Incredible Korean American fusion food. Great cook book and great reviews of the cook book in... More

One of our absolute local favourites during our month long stay in Park Slope. Only a short trip on the B61 away, The Good Fork was originally recommended to us by staff at other (non related) restaurants - we were very happy that they did. Service was very friendly, great atmosphere, well priced wine list - but the food was... More

After the mix up with my booking last month I must credit Ben and the team for accommodating another visit to Good Fork. The food was fantastic with the Korean-style steak & eggs and potato parsnip mash the highlights of an enjoyable evening.

Absolutely pathetic customer service. I made a booking a month in advance, then received 3 x confirmation text messages prior to the booking (including 2 the day of). This is important when your restaurant is way out of the way in Red Hook. But when we arrived at the restaurant a guy in the kitchen told us it was closed.... More

The atmosphere, the drinks, the appetizers, the main meal and the desserts all make for a complete dining adventure. These folks have all the bases covered. I am a sucker for the Korean style steak and eggs. And their signature drinks are so tasty, it's hard not to order a second one. Which I happily do.

We went with a party of 6 and were seated overlooking the patio. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal except me. I picked an Asian noodle meal from the menu that reminded of the wonderful yaki soba I'd had in Japan. It was noting more than a glorified version of rarmen. My mistake I don't hold the house responsible. The service... More

We returned a long time after our last visit, and it was even better than before. Of course we had the dumplings, and they were terrific. Our mains were just as wonderful.

The breakfast/brunch menu looks conventional at first glance but then it turns out that the dish with eggs, skirt steak and rice comes with vegetables and flavors you would expect in a Korean restaurant. What a delicious and satisfying meal. My wife has tried a lot of fresh yogurt and granola around town, and this was among the best. We... More
