We ate here on our first night in Brooklyn. The food was very good. I ordered a Caesar salad with Chicken. Very generous portion of chicken. We were suffering slightly with jet lag so didn't want too much to eat. The staff were friendly enough...but I felt as soon as soon as we had eaten We were presented with the bill.it wasn't as if it was packed and they needed the table.More

This WAS a go to spot for me. I usually do take out or delivery and eat in the comfort of my home. The exchanges between the staff and I up until this point were always pleasant. But Today my partner and I dined in...for the first time for our anniversary. That was a mistake for sure because our server was rude and ignored us the whole time. From the get go he took almost 15 minutes to take our orders. He didn’t even have the decency to mention his name. His back was to us several times checking in on others around us being very personable and cherie . He was a shorter latin guy with glasses and a mustache. He shouldn’t be treating people like that. We would’ve gave him the benefit of the doubt if he were just like that with everyone but the tables adjacent to us got the exact opposite treatment and being that we’re POC and the others around were not definitely stood out. I don’t like making assumptions but the writing was on the wall at that point. My food was served first and my fries were room temperature. But 10 minutes later my partners food and fries came out with hers piping hot. It didn’t make any sense. Not once was he apologetic about anything. He ignored us the whole time but when it was time to pay that’s the only time he looked in our direction so he can get us out the door. The only person who was truly apologetic a bit was the person I paid on my way out. The other servers were playing games when we asked to speak to someone, they pointed in the direction of the bathroom, but when we eventually spoke to management we still left disappointed and dissatisfied. I’m a pretty easygoing person but that was by far my worst dining experience ever and I wouldn’t wish that treatment on anyone. It’s really a shame. ✌🏾More
We arrived in Brooklyn as I got on the wrong subway train, but the upside is we found this fantastic restaurant. The whole experience was wonderful, the staff were attentive and friendly, the menu was impressive and the food was excellent. My son was bowled...over by his fried chicken and waffles. Great value compared to similar establishments in Manhattan. Would thoroughly recommend a visit to any travellers coming to NYC.More
Visiting in Brooklyn for 12 days (from Maine) and found this neighborhood gem. Ate here 3 times during our stay and, each time, quite busy but service excellent as was the food. Best Belgium waffle ever! Management/owner very pleasant and customer-oriented. Highly recommend.

me and my boyfriend were looking for a place to have breakfast and came across clark’s restaurant online. we were not disappointed. the food was excellent, service is fast and very nice little place. there is also a terrace if you want to sit outside....would recommend et would come back if ever in brooklyn again!More
We were visiting Brooklyn and found Clark's accidents. We were glad we did. The food was good and there was plenty of it. The service was excellent. I'm a wheelchair user and a downside for me was-there was no accessible washroom
Came across this place while I was searching for some breakfast n the area. Everything we had was very good and the staff were very helpful. It was a windy day otherwise we would sit outside and enjoy the sun also... If you are in...the area and hungry give it a try and you wont be dissapointed.More
I wish we were local. So much I want to sample. We stopped in for lunch and the chicken was delicious. They have a large menu with great prices. Our server was excellent. It was so nice to sit outside in the beautiful weather.
Very nice meal and experience on a Sunday afternoon in September. Wait staff professional and friendly, courteous and competent.
We had fun here. The staff was great, the dining areas were well lit from all the windows, and you could choose to sit outside. Usually I’m skeptical of huge menus but they our food was fantastic from my chicken and veggies to my wifes...salmon and salad (her salmon was so big we shared it and I boxed up my chicken for leftovers) to my sons eggs benedict. All huge portions and delicious. We went twice during our weekend stay.More

A good choice for an excellent meal on your way to or from the nearby Brooklyn Heights Promenade. The navy bean soup, pastrami sandwich, and double chocolate cookie I had for lunch were all very good. Both indoor & outdoor seating is available.
