Eating here is a milestone, but don't put your hopes too high. Good food served warm but nothing to special to their numerous contemporaries.

I cannot count the amount of times that I've gone to Nathan's in Coney Island! During the summer the place is a nightmare of long lines. Go there for the Fantastic fries with all the accompaniments. The fried shrimp are great and if you get the hot dogs make sure you ask for sauteed onions. I personally do not buy... More

If your going to eat Nathan's, go to the original. They have much more than hot dogs. They have burgers and fries. Also they have some seafood here too. And of course home of the World Champion Hot Dog eating contest!

Nathan's Famous isn't included among the noted tourist attractions in New York City--it isn't on a list with the Empire State Building, Fifth Avenue, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, Guggenheim Museum, Yankee Stadium, Grand Central Terminal or the Statue of Liberty--but if you like hot dogs, it is a must-visit destination. Nathan's Famous no longer is a restaurant but rather a... More

Nathan's was redone after Sandy devastated the area. It still has it's Frank's but has added other dishes over the years included fish fishes, chicken dishes, etc. Their fries are still the best as they are chunky, ridged wedges cooked just right. There isn't much seating except for a small outdoor seating area next to the shop. If you don't... More

this is the one place in Coney Island that I just had to visit and was not disappointed. I went there in April so the boardwalk was very empty. Nathans is a year around place to eat and was not very busy when I arrived. The staff was friendly but very robot like as if they were doing it all... More

Have not been to Coney Island for years, got a couple of hot dogs with peppers and onions with a side of beer battered onion rings. Delicious! Had table seating outside on the side of the iconic location. Got to have a dog, if you go see the sites in the neighborhood!

I ordered a hotdog with sautéed onions, regular fries and a Coke. It took 15 minutes plus, the onions were sautéed in some undescribable sauce, the hotdog was small and tasteless and the fries were undercooked. All this for over $12 US. Don't bother - the legend is dead.

Nathan's should be on everyone's "bucket list"......at least ten times over. There's nothing like munching away on a hotdog at this historic venue in Coney Island. Tasty hotdogs are their claim to fame .... but I had my way, Nathan's would be remembered for their French fries. Without exception, these are the tastiest fries in the land..... a golden mahogany... Mediocre service. Decent, albeit overpriced hotdogs. French fries that beg to be what they once were! If you were anyplace else, I would say skip it...but you're in Coney Island! Nathan's is a required visit.
