We ordered Delux sashimi and were served tuna salmon etc that were given a "sear". I called the server and complained. She came back to tell us that their sashimi is always served seared. It was simply not sushi quality fish to begin with. Do not order sashimi here.

Four of us had Saturday dinner here, in their 2nd floor (walk-up) restaurant overlooking the street in front. Uncomfortable wood seating--bench style with no cushions and no shaping of the wood, so just flat hard surface, which was in poor condition as well. Menu is varied, but the sushi is a bit fusion, the wasabi was like a cream sauce... More

We were walking by on the way to the Brooklyn waterfront and then the Bridge and saw the board outside this place offering quite reasonable lunch specials. The initial impressions were not all that positive - climbing up a couple of flights of stairs to a rather strange décor and Thai-speaking staff. The food made up for it, though -... More

Stopped in to eat some Ramen. I was not sure how the food would be like. 2nd floor walk up and the decor is nothing special. But I was needing some hot flavorful food. I ordered the Spicy Prawn Ramen and it was amazing. Very fresh prawns and vegetables. The egg was perfectly poached. The broth was the best part.... More

I've been wanting to go here for a year. I'm so glad I took the leap! It is hidden, and I think that was my overall hesitation. Delicious sushi, great food and beautiful space. Seriously underrated. Great spot to people watch and view the busy Brooklyn Street & enjoy divine sushi.

This was my second time at this local sushi joint in my neighborhood and I've made it a point to not think negatively about if my first visit if something negative happens. Well this was my 2nd visit and the service was again VERY slow. Each table around us had to look up and play the staring game with the... More

Met friend on last Thursday night. We chose the seat towards the street. Yes definitely great view like everyone thought. Good service from the waitress. You could see from her hands when she introduced the dish arrived. We ordered tofo, rainbow roll, shrimp tempura roll, and mochi ice cream! Perfect $30 for my groupon $15 for $30. The waitress also offered... More

I read mixed reviews of this restaurant and was leery about trying it. However, we are glad we did not let the reviews scare us away. This is a quirky establishment, that is for sure, but the sushi is absolutely worth the trip to Brooklyn Heights! If you go, try the OMG, 911, Super Rainbow and Futomaki rolls. There are... More
