My husband found this restaurant online and as we were spending the day in Brooklyn anyway we decided to make the additional effort to take a detour and go to Selamat Pagi. From start to finish - we shared a starter, each chose a main course and shared the dessert - everything was delicious. Highly recommended

I have passed by Selamat Pagi so many times, and finally went after a few months - I was totally blown away. I was excited for Indonesian food having never had it before, but was floored once trying it because this restaurant does magic. The ingredients are so fresh, the sauces so tasty - you really can taste every ingredient... More

We went there for a date night and wanted to try something new. As Indonesian, we were kinda disappointed for the Authenticity of the Food. My Curry Fish was great! Love the Boneless Fish and Curry but not as authentic as I expected. Her Gado Gado was way off that we were expected 😳😒 we never saw that kind of... More

This cosy Brooklyn restaurant has a fun delicious menu and cool ambience. We got 4 small plates and 4 large ones. The best small was the coconut meatballs and the surprise was the spring rolls that come with papaya bites that you can't stop eating. I loved the spicy beef main dish and had a great time overall. 50$ each... More

If you want to try something unusual, wonderful, intriguing, yet SUPER-DELICIOUS... try this place ! It's not easy to find.. somewhere in Greenpoint... BUT it's worth the trip. I had the pleasure of going there and trying various food from some mirco-food-ish presentation of indonesian classics, and even some interesting turmeric - soda - liquor - cumin - ginger type... We recently had dinner from here and it was really superb. It's not always easy to keep the food tasting great when it's take-out, but this restaurant really surprised. I highly recommend it...and the restaurant itself is really pretty!

Four of us enjoyed a meal outside on the sidewalk. Lovely foods. We started with the prawn chips with three sauces--mmmmm and we were even brought extra chips at no additional charge. We also shared house made pickles as starters. For mains we shared the fish curry, the tempeh and noodle dish, coconut milk battered fried chicken and the long... More

This is truly a diamond in the rough restaurant locating in Greenpoint, N.Y. . The staff is very helpful and attentive. This was my second time there and I was thoroughly satiated with their A+ prepared food. They also allow for BYOB with a small corkage fee that I find attractive as a wine collector. Their "daily Campur" is a... More
