Very good sushi and service. There was really good variety on the menu. Sushi was not cheap, but reasonably priced.

Been to other sushi places around and they have the best tuna. It is tender melts in your mouth. The rice is season to perfection and again you can actually taste the freshness. I love, this place. I live near by,and will be back...

After try the sushi in other restaurant , taro sushi should be the best in the neighborhood. Sushi were carefully prepared by chef Jason. The special roll recomanded from him was amazing. Waitress was friendly and served up food very professional at right time. Very nice experience. The insider look so neat and clean , no fancy but traditional sushi... More

One of a growing number of Japanese restaurants with branches in Japan. Their sushi and sashimi is always very fresh and they fly in some specialty items on a regular basis. Service is reserved but friendly and competent. The lunch special bento boxes are a real bargain and the dinner menu has a lot of variety. We tend to order... More

I found this place on tripadvisor and it's amazing!! I love their "real california roll"! We also tried steamed prawn gyoza and other rolls (dragon, rainbown) the food is amazing!

This place has very quick service at lunch, very reasonable lunch menu prices and the food is amazing. This was probably the freshest raw fish I've had in New York. I have grid the rolls, sushi and chirashi and they were all above reproach.

I have been going to Taro Sushi for quite a few years now. It has excellent quality fish and they use a very high quality rice which is unusual for such a simple restaurant. The fish has been always exceptionally fresh and delicious, although the cuts are not overly generous. The decor is pretty and simple, and the service is... More

This small and slightly crowded Japanese restaurant in Park Slope is a steal and a find. The service is efficient but enthusiastic and friendly; the food is fantastic. We did not eat sashimi (not my thing) but all the sushi and salads (cooked seaweed--amazing-we ordered seconds!) and vegetable dumplings we had were appetizingly presented and delicious. There were couples, families... More

In a neighborhood with many choices for Japanese cuisine, this restaurant stands out as providing some of the best and most authentic. There are always specials of fish (often imported from Japan) that make excellent sushi choices. The sushi is excellent and there are cooked choices, the usual Katsus, Teriyakis, and Tempuras, for those who don't like "fresh" fish, but... More
