My husband and I met a friend here for brunch on Saturday. We were expecting a wait, but were pleasantly surprised to find a table available when we arrived. I had a wonderful dish of poached eggs on Norwegian Salmon and whole wheat toast triangles, and side of fresh berries and two delicious cappuccinos. We'll be back.

Popped in for coffee before a show. Rachel made amazing latte and was wonderful conversation. Octopus appetizer was beautiful and so yummy. Intimate rustic space. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I stopped by on a recommendation from a local. It was early on a Thursday and not too crowded. The bartender was super - the cheese platter was a perfect appetizer. The tap ran out after my first beer - bartender was apologetic. Red wine was a bit warm when served, but overall - I'd recommend this... More

If you're in Brooklyn Heights (a really lovely historic neighborhood that gives you access to some great views of Manhattan and New York Harbor) and venturing into or out of Brooklyn Bridge Park via the Joralemon (pronounced JORE-alla-mon) entrance, this is a great little spot to stop for breakfast, brunch, lunch (the same menu from 8 to 4) or dinner.... Really enjoyed our dinner here last Night. It has a very warm setting with great food and service. My husband had the iris salad and the chicken. I had the grilled octopus salad ash salmon. Both wonderful!

I ate Saturday brunch here with two girlfriends and found it to be a lovely neighbourhood cafe in a gorgeous part of Brooklyn. However portion sizes are small and we left still hungry. I didn't order a latte when I saw the price - $5.75! Not worth it - very poor in value.

Our family has really come to enjoy Iris, however, 3 of us just walked away from dinner thinking that our meal was a bit of a joke. Brussel sprouts appetizer arrived, which is delicious and we all noted how tiny it was. Didn't even think that it was 13 bucks...complete rip off, and why? Brussel sprouts aren't exactly truffles. Wine... More

Seriously. Best raspberry muffin in New York. Amazing scone with nuts. Nice decoration, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. The portions are not very big, so it's better to share, so you can have a taste of differents things on the menu. I wish they could have chai latte and fresh squeezed orange juice, though.
