the fillings they have are great. Went with friends in from California, so we each ordered a different plate of pierogi -- sweet potato, mushroom and goat cheese, mushroom and sauerkraut (the third was mine!) My babcia (Polish grandma) made the most wonderful sauerkraut and onion buttery pierogi filling, with a light dough for which there was no recipe. Dziupla's... More

Stumbled across this little gem on a rainy evening. It was happy hour and a generous plate of pierogi was half price. I'd never tried them before , but they were comforting, warming potato and cheese deliciousness! We ended up staying on for dinner too...my husband had a good steak with port and raspberry sauce and I enjoyed trout with... More

Home hearty Polish food. Kielbasa sandwich, peirogies, sangria....YUMMY! Affordable in the Northside, outside dining to soak in beautiful weather and my old neighborhood nostalgia. Fruendly staff. Don't leave here without giving it a try!

A bit crowded, I think we were in the smaller side of it. The atmosphere is totally neighborhood with very casual ambiance, rustic setting and terrific food. Many of those dining were Polish folks, speaking Polish so no greater compliment could there be for me. Simple "L" train ride almost to their door from Manhattan. Worth a trip, worth many... More

My polish husband said he'd been searching for potato pancakes as good as his father's for 30 years and found them here! We stumbled on this place while touring Bedford Street and what a find. The ambiance is charming, the service was excellent and our food, well, the best Polish meal we've had in 30 years. The "Purses stuffed with... More

$13 for a 3 course lunch, with a very good and typical polish food. Very good restaurant on Berford Ave and super nice waitress.

Food and atmosphere were excellent. Hands down - you should go here. Amazing food worth the price. As equally quaint as it is fun.

We stepped into this cozy little restaurant on a whim. The decor is all dark wood. Service was fast and friendly. We had a variety of foods from the menu and nobody was disappointed or hungry when we left, although my bar drink was very weak. The only problem was the large TV with a game on and the waiters...
