As a solo diner, I often easily get a single seat at restaurants with difficult to get reservations. So I was quite excited to get a table here after reading the reviews. I must say the food was wonderful and the ambiance, especially outside in...More

This review is for an experience that happened on Friday afternoon, August 16th. One of my best friends lives nearby and was able to book the private dining room given our party's size. Several people were flying in for this family/friends reunion. I anticipated a...More

This place is the real deal and is truly worth the long wait for a dinner reservation. The meal feels like a fusion of farm-to-table and tapas: a short but very diverse menu of small plates of locally sourced ingredients prepared to perfection and imaginatively...More

While in NY you might encounter many overhyped, so-so, wanna be restaurants. That can happen actually anywhere. Not in Olmsted, this guys put in the table a food and service worth every penny you spend on it and even more. From the scallops dish, spatzle,...More

This restaurant was a James Beard nominee so expectations were high. Sufficient creative cocktails list - suggest removing...More

We’ve been 3 times and it continues to be great. We love the carrot crepes. And the duck liver mousse and the duck both stand out. But everything is excellent.

I can’t comment on the food because we were never seated. We walked in at 1:30 without a reservation hoping to possibly score a table. After waiting a bit we were told that they could fit us at 3pm and would text when the table...More

We met our friends and Brooklynites Lauren and Adam for brunch here and were not disappointed. The place is very cute and the service was excellent. You truly can order every item on the menu to share amongst the group. I highly recommend Olmsted!
