Felt like you were in Grandma's kitchen. Friendly service and food that you'd brag about if you could make it. We had the Nolan (Cinnamon Roll made into French Toast with a twist), and 2 types of omelets. They also sell cookies and hand made chocolates and candies. Servings are huge, but it's so good you want to clean your... More

My favorite restaurant so far in Fairbanks! The sandwiches are amazing, make sure to have one with a homemade bread, I love the multi-grain. Sylvia's sandwich is delicious and unique, going to try to recreate this when I get back home to Florida. For dessert or take one home for breakfast with your coffee, the cinnamon raisin sweet bun! Was... More

My son and I decided to eat at Cookie Jar even though it was Saturday morning. I knew it would be busy, but wasn't prepared mentally for the next hour...They told us it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait. We decided to wait. For the next 25 minutes we stood with 15 to 30 people in their small... More

The restaurant is still one of the most popular in town. My guess is that it is because of the laid back atmosphere and casual service. These are the very things that can be annoying if you are there with a family or friends with children. There is always a wait to be seated and then there are many more... More

We tried this restaurant because of the good reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. In fact, we went back a second time - both times for lunch - the portions are quite large. The place was pretty crowded both times but well worth waiting a bit for our food. Good service / Great food.

The food is always good and the service is among the best in Fairbanks. Because they are popular, they can get busy and it can get loud. They do have a back room area for larger parties.
