This place is located north of Fox, Alaska... about as far north as anyone's gonna unless they're headed to the Arctic Circle. Well worth the trip from Fairbanks for delicious home cooked country food and pie. The sketchy locals'll stare at you and you'll feel like you in the movie deliverance, but the food is great!

This is a truck stop on "Ice Trucker", the beginning of the haul road. Went there for breakfast and is filling as well as good and hot with plenty of coffee. They make their own pies and have mountain blueberry pie among the several that are available. Portions are large enough that we bring visiting guests there just for a... More

I stopped in once during my recent visit to Fairbanks and ordered the French Toast Combo, which included eggs and bacon (or sausage, if you prefer). I also got a side of hash browns. The entire meal was delicious and I got three servings out of it (to-go containers come in handy). The server was nice and I enjoyed hearing... More

We had a enjoyable time at the truck stop. It is fun to visit with the employees and hear their stories. The food was great. We had the cheeseburger platter and reindeer chowder (Sorry, Santa). Both were good.

Had to visit after reading about the Hilltop on TripAdvisor. Friendly staff in laid-back setting. We had delicious home made beef vegetable soup followed by a shared Hilltop burger and fries. We shared so we had room for pie! Had the chocolate Fat Man pie and Butterfinger pie, both yummy.

This is a good spot to stop for lunch while you're out for a scenic drive. Truck stop fate known for their pies. I had the Fat Man pie which is a huge piece of chocolate pie with a cream cheese layer added to the crust. YUM! The burgers and fries were good as well. Service was friendly, prices typical... More

Stopped here on an Arctic Circle Tour and had some Peanut Butter Pie!! OMG it was heaven. Got to meet an Ice Road Trucker and he let me sit in his truck! People were all so friendly that were here including the staff. This was a great stop!!

My favorite place for breakfast. I have been coming here at least once a month (sometimes more) for a few years. Great food, great prices. Great for locals. Not for people looking for a glitzy restaurant. I would highly recommend the "Train Wreck"

Stopped here for a snack during a 1st Alaska tour to the Arctic Circle (phenomenal by the way). I got a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie. Did I say slice? This was more like a double or triple slice! I love pie but not typically a big pie crust fan. This was something else! YUM!

A lover of pie, I stumbled upon this truck stop with the most amazing coconut cream pie ever! The other food looked delicious but already eaten dinner. Best slice of pie. Great find! Don't ever change.
